On Thursday December 11, 2025, Cardiff Crewing Filipinas Inc. held its annual end of year Fleet Officers Meeting at the ballroom of the Sheraton Manila Bay Hotel in Malate, Manila. The meeting was attended by over 100 Filipino Officers from the Dry Bulk, Tanker and Gas fleets who had travelled from all over the country to Manila. The meeting was closed by Mr. Demetrios Koukoulas with a question-and-answer session.
On Friday 12th December there were additional meetings for the Filipino Officers and cadets serving on the TMS Cardiff Gas and TMS Tanker fleets.
Prominent guests from TMS Group in Athens attended the meeting including Mr. Demetrios Koukoulas Managing Director of TMS Dry / TMS Bulkers / TMS Offshore Services, Capt. Vasileios Kozadinos HSQE Superintendent from TMS Cardiff Gas, Capt. Lambros Apostolatos Marine Superintendent from TMS Dry, Capt. George Sfakianakis Deputy Crew Manager from TMS Tankers, Mr. Vaggelis Pelekanos Fleet & New Building Manager from TMS Tankers, Mr. George Paraskevopoulos HSQE Superintendent from TMS Dry, and Mr. Steve Ainscough Director of MER Solutions, an Australian company providing customized consultancy, incident investigations and undertaking complex feasibility and engineering studies. All guests delivered informative and interesting presentations throughout the day.
As the TMS Group continues to grow through a combination of strategic acquisitions, investment in innovation and a vigorous newbuilding program, CCFI continues to expand with now employing over 70 staff at the head office in Ermita and its branch office in Iloilo. During 2025 CCFI deployed over 4,200 Filipino seafarers to TMS vessels worldwide with a retention rate close to 100%, over 120 promotions across the fleet and a very active cadet career development program.
